Interview of Brian Warnke from Vancouver, Canada about his experience of traveling Bangladesh for three weeks, who’ve booked a 14 days Glories of Bangladesh tour with Nijhoom Tours.
Q. Please introduce yourself.
A. My name is Brian Warnke from Vancouver, Canada.
Q. When did you visit Bangladesh?
A. I visited Bangladesh in January 2020.
Q. Why did you choose to visit Bangladesh while most travelers do not visit it?
A. One of the reasons I visited was to visit a friend that I had met on a previous travel who was from Bangladesh and had currently moved back there. The other reason was to visit the country and get to know the culture and people.
Q. How did your friends and family react when they heard your plan about visiting Bangladesh?
A. They were curious as no one had heard of anyone that had been there before. They all know I like to travel and to travel to places off the beaten track.

Q. How long was your trip to Bangladesh?
A. It was from Jan 10 – Feb 7, 2020.
Q. What was the highlight of your Bangladesh tour?
A. The big Muslim festival which I don’t remember the name of, seeing all the people pack onto the trains leaving the festival. Also the Sundarban portion of the tour. Also, the fact that it was a very small group.
Q. What was the most bizarre thing you’ve seen in Bangladesh?
A. The risk people took climbing on top of the train.
Q. What was your happiest moment in Bangladesh?
A. Seeing my friend again and meeting new friends and seeing the wildlife in the Sundarbans.

Q. What is the biggest regret about your Bangladesh tour?
A. That I got sick on the second day there and was sick a couple of days. Also wish I could see more of the country.
Q. If you come back to Bangladesh, what will it be for?
A. To see my friends there again if still there and to see more of the country.
Q. Would you suggest other travelers visit Bangladesh?
A. Of course!
Q. Is there anything else that you’d like to share about your Bangladesh experience with other travelers?
A. Just that it may not come with all the comforts and regulations that one is used to but that it is a very safe and beautiful country to visit.
