We had the boat in the Sundarbans to ourselves
It was a wonderful mix of sights and experiences: big, bustling, often chaotic, but always fascinating old Dhaka; the historic mosques and temples in Bagherat; and a serene boat journey through the unique Sunderbans.

Sundarbans was such a serene experience
Every morning and every evening you go on a small boat into the side canals in the Sundarbans to look for the wildlife. This is such a serene experience! The food on board was the best we had in Bangladesh! Big shout-out to the cook, especially when you see the tine kitchen he cooks in.

I was blown away in a pleasant way
I did a six-day Dhaka/Sundarbans tour in January (adding another two day tours at the front and back) and was blown away in a pleasant way just by the experience of visiting the world's fifth-most populous country. The following day we embarked on a 3-day boat trip in the Sundarbans, and although we did not see a tiger, the trip was truly memorable. The food was very good, ... Read more

A varied and excellent itinerary
The 14-day Glory of Bangladesh was a wonderful tour. It had a varied and excellent itinerary of the big-city sights of Dhaka, the wildlife of the Sundarbans (lots of birds, boars, and deer), interesting archaeological sites and UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and villages that were very interesting, very non-touristy, and welcoming.
